Pet-Friendly Hotel in Vermont
Room 14 is our dog-friendly room. Up to two dogs are permitted for a $100 flat fee per visit.
Dogs may be left crated in the room for short periods, provided we have your contact info in case of a disturbance (going to eat nearby is probably okay, but leaving your dog for the day while you go skiing is not). Dogs who create an ongoing or repeated disturbance will be required to leave the property. Learn more on our hotel policy page.
Cats and other pets are not permitted in any of our rooms.

One of the best things about staying here is how little driving you need to do. The inn sits in the Waterbury Village Historic District, a short and easy walk from downtown shops, cafes, and restaurants.
You can take a morning stroll, grab a coffee, and be back in time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast.
We are located at the crossroads of Interstate 89 and Route 100, making us a natural home base for exploring Vermont. Stowe is about ten to fifteen minutes away, Burlington is about thirty minutes, and Montpelier is about fifteen minutes.
Wherever your day takes you, and your four-legged friend, you are just a short drive away.
Trails, Parks, and Fresh Air Nearby
Waterbury is surrounded by some of Vermont’s best outdoor spaces, ideal for an active dog. Leashed dogs are welcome on many of the area trails and at nearby state parks. A few favorites within a short drive:
Little River State Park offers shoreline trails and quiet woods along the Waterbury Reservoir. The reservoir itself is a beautiful spot for a walk by the water. Camel’s Hump and Mount Mansfield give you bigger climbs and long views when you are ready for a longer day on the trail.
Many local spots have outdoor seating where a well-behaved dog is welcome to rest at your feet while you enjoy a Vermont beer or a bite to eat.
Breakfast and the Library Pub
Mornings here begin with a homemade breakfast featuring local ingredients, sweet and savory choices, and vegan and gluten-free options. It is the kind of unhurried start that makes a trip feel like a real break. In the evening, the Library Pub is the heart of the inn, with literary-themed cocktails, local Vermont beers, ciders, and wines.
All of our rooms include air conditioning, deluxe linens, plush mattresses, blackout shades, and free fiber WiFi. Parking is free and right on site, and room 14 has a private entrance, so unloading the car and your pet is simple.
